And come what may, we tend to follow it. Whether it’s going to the gym, reading the paper, or enjoying a cup of tea, most of us rarely skip the morning routine. In fact, according to studies it is said that if we use our mornings wisely, we can build habits that will allow us to lead happier and rather more productive life. And perhaps, we could pick up certain habits from their daily routines. And maybe, it’ll help us also become as focused as them.
1. Barack Obama
He may have broken a ton of conventions on his way to office but behind the weight of his responsibilities, Obama at heart is just as meticulous as he seems.
The President of the United States and arguably the world’s most powerful man, Obama isn’t one to hang around in the mornings. It is believed that Obama keeps a strict morning workout routine of weights and cardio at 6.45am.
2. Howard Schultz
In an interview, Howard Schultz talked about how he gets up at as early as 4:30 a.m. every morning to walk his dogs followed by making coffee for himself and his wife by 5:45 a.m.
That’s not all, Schlutz is pretty particular about the kind of coffee he drinks, apparently he is very fond of using a “coarse grind of aged Sumatra”. Once his morning fix is done, it’s time for work.
3. Bill Gates
What makes Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates different from us apart from his billions is the way he begins the day. You’ll be surprised to know that Gates likes to train mind and body first thing in the morning.
One of the world’s richest men, Bill Gates likes to exercise both mind and body first thing in the morning.
In fact, it is believed that Gates spends an hour on the treadmill doing cardio exercise. However, while doing so he reportedly watches instructional videos as well.
4. Mark Zuckerberg
The man who changed the definition of being social and gave the world a new addiction is an inspiration to many.
It is a well known fact that, Mark almost always wearing a plain gray T-shirt. Interestingly when he was quizzed about the reason for this practice he said that wearing the same shirt helps allow him “to make as few decisions as possible.”
According to an online daily, Zuckerberg often doesn’t sleep very much, and he has been known to stay up until 6 a.m. talking with Facebook employees.
6. Steve Jobs
The visionary man who revolutionized the world as we know it by giving us Apple. It is believed that Jobs use to spend his mornings re-evaluating his work.
In fact, in his speech to a graduating class at Stanford, Jobs said, “For the past 33 years I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”
